The 3 Simple Rules

So what are the 3 Simple Rules and where did they come from?

Rule 1 – Tell people what you want them to do.

Rule 2 – Provide them feedback on how they are doing.

Rule 3 – Use data to make decisions about the first two rules.

The rules came out of a conversation with Dr. Bill Redmon back in 1999. He also stressed that robustness of the rules are improved by the quality of the ABC analysis.

The 80 years of research is the work of behaviourist such as J.B. Watson and B.F. Skinner and has grown into the field of Applied Behavioural Science.
